Soon...

Monkey was glad to see me

And even more pleased to get his present (which we shared)

All at sea

A last look at France

The P&O gift shop

I realised that I'd forgotten to buy presents for those at home.

They turned out to be not as tasty as I thought they would.

But this was much better...

I didn't see any bluebirds

2e Enfance

I'm glad I got to visit during Fall Holidays.  What a wonderful way to experience Paris.

Playing in the conkers leaves at the Jardin de Ranelagh.  It smelled wonderful.

Watching one of the classics... "Le Chat Botte"

2 Gardens in 1 Day!

The Jardin du Luxembourg

It was such a lovely day, we decided to try our luck at another garden and have a picnic there.

The famous Medici fountain

It is famous for the optical illusion that it appears to go down-hill.  I couldn't see it.

The boating pond

I thought the boats were just about right.  But the man let me try one out...
...and said I might break the keel.  What cheek!

So I contented myself with watching the boats.

The playground

Frances and I climbed to the top of the monkey ropes.  (I didn't see any other Bananians, just lots of children.)

I then had a little nap while the girls played.

On the way out I played in the autumn leaves.
Since we were going anyways, I didn't see the harm of a little more climbing.

Jardin des Plantes

It's like they designed it for me!

I went with Frances & Nathalies' friends: Sylvia and Lillian

Then I saw THE SIGN!

But I could not help myself!

They are very strict here!!!

Paris a velo

Somehow, even a trip to the shops is exciting here...

Much more exciting than back home...

I was told that some of my public cannot comment on my blog.  Hopefully my recent change to the settings will allow everyone access.

Wednesday - rainy bath day

It was a horrible day today.  Rain, rain, and then more rain.  Frances and Nathalie had school in the morning, a doctor's appointment in the afternoon (What's the big deal about vaccinations? Just put the needle in where the wool isn't.) and then Nathalie had capoeria class. So I spent the day chatting with my brothers.

But then it was bath-time

I let the girls go first, as banana residue tends to make the tub slippy.

There's nothing like a bath for complete relaxation.

Je suis a Paris!!!

Hi!  I'm in Paris.  It's a bit of a long story why and how, but here I am.
